Photos Jim Guinan, seated behind the bar, and his wife Peg, right, opened Guinan's Pub & Country Store in 1959.  Today Jim's son, John, helps run the store along with his sister, Margaret, and daughter Kelly.  Facing the front of Guinan's Country Store. The pub is located in back.  This old Coca-Cola cooler holds the pub's beer.  Ed Preusser, left, and Colonel Tom Endres are two long-time Guinan's patrons and characters in the book. |
